Packers have a Bye week but there is still an important game for them that will be played. Two of their division foes match up against each other in the Vikings @ the Bears.

If the Vikings win they'll have their longest winning streak of the season (two game) when they host the Green Bay Packers and looking to make a come back this season like they did against the Cardinals and still win the division.

If the Bears win they'll be back in the drivers seat for the division having tied the Packers record and having the tie breaker over them as well as to get out of the slump that has them at 2-3 over the last 5 games were they have only won against two of the three worse records in the NFL and very barely won against the Bills.

Do you care about this game? If so what are you hoping that happens? It could effect the Packers with the Vikings hosting the Packers next week and the Bear and Packers battling it out for the leader of the division.

All together now: Go Bears! Go Bears! Go Bears!

To say that the Bears will be "in the driver's seat" if they win this game is a bit misleading, I think. They will control their destiny, but so will the Packers, and the remaining game between the two teams will be played in Green Bay. Advantage Packers.

It will be a sloppy race anyway. Nobody is likely to win out. What I'd like to see right now is for the Vikings to get put out of their misery, making it a two-team race.

I'm with Greg. Let Chicago knock out the Viking and let us focus on knocking out Chicago.

I think our focus should be on the Vikings at least until the Packers they play the Vikings. Two loses in a row to the division leaders might knock the Vikings out officially for the season.

Then focus on the Bears or the team we're playing 🙂

That's what I would be saying if I was a member of the Green Bay Packers. But I'm just a fan. I don't have to focus on anyone if I don't want to. I can sit back and enjoy watching our two division rivals pummel each other. But I'll enjoy it a lot more if the Bears win.

I want to see a defensive and boring game... basically making some scoring in the first quarter but after that be a very boring game with little to no scoring..... basically kill both teams momentum even if they win the game...

And it could happen... the DEs could beat the OTs in that match up pretty badly.

I'm counting on Peppers beating the shit out of McKinnie and Favre all day long. I'm counting on Jarred Allen to be chasing Cutler all day long.

I'm rooting for the bears to win (and not just because I have a standing wager with my father-in-law on all Packers or vikings games). If the vikings lose their season will be all but over. Then, in the second half of the season, the bears will be revealed as the pretenders that they are.

Either way however, it really doesn't matter as long as the Packers take care of their own business.
