I think we were raised somewhat similar in the respect my father always told me. No matter how bad you have it, someone has it worse and no matter how great you have it, someone has it better.

i'm trying my hardest to remember that right now! major problems with the ex - he just got a DUI, doesn't seem worried at all about it even though he drives a truck for a living. i'm trying my best to hold it together for the lil guys but try to explain that to two 5 year olds... 😞 :(

wow - talk about off topic!!

back to cheesey - i've admired him from the time i got to know him on a different site. i'm happy that i got to meet him & lj a few years ago. he's a terrific person who has definitely had challenges in his life.

If ya'll knew Marrdro from PP.O, you'd understand this next statement..

Cheesey, my friend, you just plopped yourself to the top of my spreadsheet.

+1

LOL. Nice.

Cheesey, someone else who has posted on both PPO and whatever forum you all happened to be posting on at the time read some of my puns and labeled me PPO's version of Cheesey.

I don't know your full story, but it sounds as though that was more of a compliment than I initially realized.

Oh, and do you know what's the shortest distance between two puns?

It's a balancing act.......which at times can be REAL hard. Some days i feel so sick that i want to give up. But then i see someone that is worse off then me, and i remember to count my blessings. With the disease i have, no one can SEE that theres anything wrong with me. So if i try extra hard not to let it get me down, and i try to laugh and remain upbeat, they say "Geez, for a guy thats sick, you sure don't show it" and they think i'm faking. To me, whats the alternative? Should i bring everybody down, throw myself a daily "pity party"? The day of the Ozaukee Idol semi finals, i was sick in bed till 5pm, and i had to be at the show by 7pm. I almost cancelled. But i toughed it out, as i KNEW i would regret it if i didn't. After the finals were over, i told the main judge i was disabled, and told him what i had. He was shocked to hear it. But i told him i did NOT want them to know before hand, as i didn't want a "pity vote".
No matter how bad it is, someone has it worse.

Your boys don't realize now how great a Mommy they have! But someday they will realize what you have had to endure for them! Thats when you get the payoff!

In all honesty, it has been an inspiration dealing with Cheesey over the last few years. One of the most humble (if not self efacing) people I know. Always has a positive attitude toward others even when he struggles personally. enjoy the DVD too! :thumbright:

Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
