Got it on PackersNews.com text updates.

Signing Havner was a good move, because he and Rodgers had good chemistry in the endzone.

I think we could've cut a player instead of IRing Tauscher though. Other than Lang, there is no good potential backups to Clifton and Bulaga. I'm not as high on Newhouse as a lot people here are.

I've been hard on Tausch, but GD, not that hard on him.

I think Spencer back is an excellent move right about now.

Net plus, but I really hope they know wtf they are doing here.

Well, I am guessing Mark wasn't going to make it back this season... or this move makes little sense.

Sad to say.. this is probably the end of the line for Mark in GB.

I wonder if Tausher was really that hurt. I mean it seemed like he was going to be back... but now I'm thinking his career with GB could be over. Also I like Lang last year at OT. I'm not high on Newhouse ether... on my mock roster I cut Newhouse and kept Havner (5 TE which I knew wouldn't really happen).

I'm interested in seeing what Havner can do... Lee seems to have disappeared even with Finley gone... Quarless has a ton of potential but is making a lot of mistakes as well while flashing his potential. Crabtree is very good STer... but seems a bit limited at TE.

Forget Green Bay, Taushcer's career is probably done.

Nonetheless, this move only makes sense if the Packers felt Tauscher couldn't make it back. If not, then once again the Packers are playing with fire along the depth of their offensive line. Though I suppose they might like T.J. Lang.

Four TEs? Or is Havner an OLB?

Despite long odds, Mark has been battling this shoulder injury in an effort to get back on the field, Thompson said. His work ethic and motivation have been tremendous but the injury has been too severe to overcome. He is a team leader and will be an important part of our team as we go through the stretch run of our season.

He's listed at TE. And I don't think people should be surprised with four TEs. The Packers had four TEs until Finley went down, and four TEs in 2006 (I think it was 2006).

Nooooo!

The object of this game is not to see who has the most people on IR. We really don't need any more people from our OL on the IR right now. This is bad news. Really bad news.

"Oh, great" Rock said in a sarcastic voice, being the smarmy cunt that he is.

But really, I don't like this move.

No, I don't mind that Tauscher went onto IR. I bet they have a good reason for it. Bulaga's playing just as well right now. With Green on the roster, we don't need Lang on the D-line anymore. You want to groom your young guys. Having Lang ride the inactive bench and Bulaga being the back-up won't help them out all that much.

What I don't like is the resigning of Havner. The guy couldn't even stick with the Lions. He appears to be "one of Ted's guys". That's all that justifies his roster spot.

He's a mediocre TE, couldn't make the team as a LB and is good, but not great, on STs. Versatility is great, but a player who is mediocre across the board can be as versatile as he wants, but just isn't going to help the team a whole lot.
