Ironman, that was probably the third or fourth best of your posts that I've ever read.... maybe the fifth.

I assume this was supposed to be funny because IMO its one of the worst posts I have read from IM -

Al Harris was a true hero; he worked his ass off to come back from a season ending injury and potentially career ending.

He was my favorite guy on the team- until CM came along ...

football might be a business but IMO its bad business to treat someone like this; a washed up player.

hats off to the man with the heart of a lion

Im usually not bitter but I hope he plays for a team the packers play and goes in for a pick 6

:pottytrain2: this is for Ted Thompson

Dulak, I'm with you on the Al Harris man crush, and I'm disappointed that he's not going to be back. But realistically he was losing a step before his injury and coming out of the injury he's not going to be faster, more likely to have lost another step.

If it doesn't work out for him with another team, I'd really like to see him back with the team in some capacity if he's not too bitter about getting cut.

I really dont know how he would compare to shields because havnt seen him play since his injury; I just remember watching underwood (the dude that everyone seemed to like last year and go; OMG he sucks) - ya he showed a bit of improvement this year until his injury ...

Be cool if he could of gotten some roll on our team even it was dime back; Im sure hed rather just play here then some other team.

The Miami Dolphins have signed veteran cornerback Al Harris to a one-year deal, according to his agent, Jack Bechta.

Beside the Dolphins, other teams that were interested in pursuing Harris included the Minnesota Vikings, the Detroit Lions and the Houston Texans.

"Al is excited to be playing in his hometown," Bechta said. "He has intimated to me that he wants to play as long as he can. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a new road. He's eager to play right away and also eager to play for a few more years."

Harris, 35, was cut recently by the Green Bay Packers after beginning the season on the physically unable to perform list after rehabbing from a major knee injury.

A Pompano Beach, Fla., resident, Harris made the decision due to wanting to play in the AFC as well as geographical reasons.

Harris is up to speed physically and could square off with Randy Moss on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins signed linebacker Eric Bakhtiari to the practice squad and cut linebacker Chris McCoy from the practice squad.

Harris's agent did well to make sure they played up the "wanting to play in the AFC" angle.. that will only help in his return to Green Bay for his induction into the Packer Hall of Fame.

Between the Seahawks return, the spleen, his gritty toughness and his demeanor.. he will make an excellent addition to the immortals of the honor.

I would have thought Harris would want to go to a team that's more likely to be in contention at the end of the year. But perhaps Miami offers him the best chance to play. I worry about him reaggravating the knee before the season is out, though.

I'm glad he got picked up... and I'm doubly glad he didn't sign with a team that we'll be playing soon. That'd be weird...

I wouldnt hate the Packers claiming Jason Allen, the CB that the Fins dropped to make room for Al, he has upside, former top 20 pick and really as I've seen this year he has played alright, depth never hurts

Martha Careful (8h) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product

Mucky Tundra (12h) : Well that didn't take long; Jerod Mayo out as Patriots HC
Zero2Cool (12h) : I would expect it to be higher in favor of Eagles
Mucky Tundra (12h) : Thst line seems...generous
Zero2Cool (12h) : Eagles -3.5 over Packers in Wildcard Round
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Did it though? Pokes beat the Commanders on the road with Cooper Rush previously
Zero2Cool (20h) : That gives them their best chance
Mucky Tundra (5-Jan) : Cowboys starting Trey Lance at QB vs Commanders; GB vs Philly in the Wild Card incoming!
Mucky Tundra (4-Jan) : Stinks for Lloyd. Hoping he comes back strong for next year
Zero2Cool (3-Jan) : Packers placed Marshawn Lloyd on reserve non-football illness list
Zero2Cool (3-Jan) : Luke Getsy been helping Packers defense. He's former OC Bears/Raiders and our old QB coach
beast (2-Jan) : Thanks dfosterf, I'm still kicking myself for last week, as I forgot to change to pick Vikings and Lions... after putting in a holding spot.
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : First alternate: Elgton Jenkins Other alternates: Jordan Love, Kenny Clark, Keisean Nixon, Tucker Kraft, Josh Myers, Jaire Alexander
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : Pro Bowl still a thing? Guess Packers have three. Jacobs, Gary, McKinney.
dfosterf (2-Jan) : It's a mine field with all the players sitting, etc
dfosterf (2-Jan) : There was quite a bit of "chalk" matchups this year it seemed, but not this week coming up
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : Or we got better and by we I mean everyone except me
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : We have about six that by percent would have won nearly any season. I guess 2024 was predictable 🤷
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : You can check previous seasons. I quick did it and don't think anyone hit 70% before
dfosterf (2-Jan) : Hats off to the Beast
dfosterf (2-Jan) : I'm at 71.76% in pick 'em. 2nd place. Beast is at a flat 75% 9 games ahead. That 75% has got to be unprecedented this late in the season
beast (2-Jan) : I don't care deeply, just want some good entertaining games
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : BTW, not serious.
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : You don't care about it either!!!!
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : NIL and Portal killed college, no one cares about it.
Mucky Tundra (2-Jan) : outside of Texas-Arizona St, it's been a snoozefest
beast (2-Jan) : I expect Georgia will change that tomorrow, but we'll have to wait and see. If they do, then only Big 10 and SEC are left.
