I think when the central mass of the Redskins' collective BOO!s and the KUUUUUHHHN chants collided, it created a huge wall of sound that made it sound like it was Lambeau.

it's not a kuhn as a guy thing, but more a kuhn as a name thing. someone mentioned uribe, in soccer there are several examples, too.

the only white guy in the bafana bafana (nickname of the south african national soccer team) is matthew booth. everytime he touches the ball, the crowd screams BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH. in the beginning journalists thought the crowd booooos him (because soccer is the sports for the blacks in south africa), but now everybody knows that they actually like and scream for him.

another example is emile heskey, a former leicester city striker, his nickname is bruno. and you heard a lot of bruuuuuuuuuuuuunooooooo chants at filbert street that time, when he was on the field.

once your name is short and includes a u or oo, you'll get your own chant 😉
