The Vikings.

Look at the schedule for these two teams.

Chicago

@Miami
Philadelphia
@Detroit
New England
@Minnesota
New York Jets
@Green Bay

Minnesota

@Chicago
Green Bay
@Washington
Buffalo
New York Giants
Chicago
@Philadelphia
@Detroit

Chicago has a pretty brutal schedule from here on out. They won't win a whole lot of games down the stretch.

Minnesota doesn't have the easiest schedule, either, but if they play like they did yesterday, they should be able to rack up some wins and make a push.

If they're coming from a 3-6 position, I'm not that worried. 4-5 is getting awfully close to a winning record, going into the last half of the season, though.

You say Vikings, but then you explain why it would be better for the Bears to win. I think you made a mistake.

At any rate, this is an easy one for me, without even looking at the schedules: We want the Bears to win, because they are not as talented as the Vikings and are therefore less of a threat.

Yup, you're totally right. I meant to put down the Bears.

To me it's a slam dunk. We should want a Bears win. They are awful and may not win another game all season looking at their schedule.

The Vikings are also pretty crappy but they have the pieces to do some damage if they keep their runaway train of a team somehow on the rails.

They are 3-5. If the Vikings lose three more games their season is over. They have to face the Pack, the Giants and Philly. Detroit may also give them a tough game.

as long as the packers do the homework and win their last 3 division games and one of the other 4, i don't care at all, who will win this game. this would give the packers 10-6 ovr and 5-1 in the division. that's enough to end up in front of the vikings for sure (even if they win all other games) and the bears will not finish better than 10-6, too.

Have none of you ever heard of a tie? If they both can't lose, then at least I want neither to win.

This question needs to be a poll, by the way. Maybe somebody who knows how to do those things could set it up.

Personally...I would love for the Queens to never win another game they will ever play...until the end of time, but hey.

For the purpose of this thread though, I still go Bears because their schedule is brutal, and Minny could somehow fuck up and turn things around for a bit and make things too close for comfort. They need that foot on their throat!

Go Bears!

The Cards helped us a couple years ago.. yesterday they could have yet again against the same Vikes.. they came close.

IMO.. I would rather face the Bears in the playoffs than the Vikes.. the Vikes have enough talent for any given Sunday. The Bears, well they have Cutler.. case closed. ;)

Can we have a tie. 😉

I'm rooting for Chilly to get outcoached again! I don't know why I dislike that man so much, I just do. He has this unwarranted arrogance about him that is frustrating.

I know I rooted for Chicago last year, but that was for different reasons. I think there would be no circumstance in which I would root for the Vikings.

I'd just be reiterating what has already been covered, so I'll just say I want the Bears to win in a hard fought, exhausting game.
