It's weird. It's like he's trying to make throws while running away from a sack. But quite often he has some space in the pocket. Maybe this is the result of trying to get the ball out faster?

Those moments where he sets his feet properly, he clearly is very accurate (i.e. Jennings long TD against the Dolphins). Those times seem to be the exception rather than the rule lately.

Me too! I don't know why Rodgers deserves to be exempt from criticism. IMO Rodgers has a long way to go until he is truly is as good as Farve.

Pfft, you're stupid and know nothing about QB fundamentals. :P

My joking aside, I believe last year after the Bucs loss, McCarthy made it very clear he was going to get Aaron practicing again - few weeks prior to that Bucs game Rodgers had gotten injured and basically been excused from practicing the following few weeks.

After the Bucs loss, McCarthy mentioned how Aaron was not fundamentally sound and that could be corrected by him practicing and an emphasis being placed on him being more sound. It worked, obviously, as Aaron was very good and we went 7-1.

You'd think McCarthy has spotted Rodgers flaws on the film, or at least QB Coach Tom Clements has and made McCarthy aware of it. There also has not been any news that Aaron is injured and thus missing practice - injury report aside, none of the beat writers have mentioned Rodgers sitting out portions of practice that are open to the writers.

Yet, it continues to consistently occur. Maybe Rodgers is injured, as NSD has mentioned, and the coaching staff is giving Rodgers a pass. Surely Flynn can't be that bad, where an unsound Rodgers still gives you a better shot at winning.

He doesn't look injured. Besides he hasn't played well out of the gate. I hope McCarthy isn't looking at Rodgers the same way most fans are. Bottom line he is a third year starter and is not a proven Franchise QB, contrary to popular opinion. He should be held to the same, if not greater, standards as anyone else on the team. Rodgers has been inflated by fan hype. Fans, and maybe even coaches need to judge Rodgers on what he is at this moment, rather than by what he can be in the future.

I think (from a statistical standpoint) Rodgers does well earlier in games because he's convinced himself to trust his offensive line. As the game progresses, he loses faith and starts getting a little careless with consistently following through with his mechanics throwing the ball.
