I went to pick up Keiana from the sitter today and was driving back home. I started thinking. (this is probably why some say I have ADD) I get random, out of the blue thoughts. I was thinking, cheesey has lost more than some families have lost, yet he continues to do his best to make others laugh and smile.

I know many are quick to point out peoples faults in life. I've always tried to be someone who tries to find the positive. I just wanted to say that for anyone who has gone through difficult losses in their life, you are an inspiration to them, to us all. Thank you.

Fo shizzle.

I can't imagine losing either of my parents. All my siblings are alive. I have a living Grandmother, the one I was closest to.

Cheesey - You definitely went through more than I have and you still make us laugh. Hats off to Cheesey. 🙂

Wow........i'm truely humbled by both of your comments. I really mean that. My Dad had a great sense of humor, and he taught me how to laugh, even at the worst times. I never got to meet his Mom, as she died 7 years before i was born. But my Mom told me that she would have LOVED me, as i have a warped semse of humor, which my Mom said my Grandma also had. My Mom told me how my Grandma, who was as i hear, quite well endowed in the "chest" area, would wait for my Dad to walk next to her, (my Dad was only 5'3" tall) and she would grab him and yank him into her chest face first and hold him there, saying "There's my baby!" She LOVED to laugh, and i think it got passed down from her, to my Dad, and then to me. Anytime I was in a bad mood, my Dad would do things just to make me laugh. I would fight it, but he ALWAYS won.
To me, one of the greatest things is to hear people laugh. It seems to help lighten people's loads, and makes it easier to face the challenges of life.
I have had people say "When are you gonna start acting your age?" and i tell them "If I ever do, PLEASE take me out back and kill me!" I may get older.....but i REFUSE to grow up!!!
Many times i have seen people just about ready to rip each other to shreads on the "site not to be mentioned here", and i would try to interject humor to difuse the situation. It doesn't always work, but sometimes it does.
I heard that someone from that site was "annoyed" by me and my humor. I wish i could have found out who it was, and why, but i never did find out.
I will always TRY to remain "Cheesey". It's not always easy, but in the end, i think it is whats best.
Thank you again for the uplifting thoughts!
Often times i don't think i make a difference, and Zero taking the time and effort to make this thread means ALOT to me!!!

Anytime bud. I think we were raised somewhat similar in the respect my father always told me. No matter how bad you have it, someone has it worse and no matter how great you have it, someone has it better.

btw, Trippster said he doesn't want the DVD of the 2007 highlights, something about my highlights suck? I dunno, but he said to see if you wanted the crappy work I compiled. If you do, shoot me a PM with your address and I'll ship it out. Unfortunately its stuck on two DVD's. I couldn't find a dual layer DVD at wally fart.

LOL. Nice.

Cheesey, someone else who has posted on both PPO and whatever forum you all happened to be posting on at the time read some of my puns and labeled me PPO's version of Cheesey.

I don't know your full story, but it sounds as though that was more of a compliment than I initially realized.

Oh, and do you know what's the shortest distance between two puns?

dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
