The question is whether or not the receiver ever had possession. If he did not have possession he can't be down by contact. I would have liked to see a better view of the replay but as it wasn't challenged they didn't spend any time with it.

I just watched the replays of it again, Keller did not have possession of the ball. Ball hits his hands, Charles immediately knocks it loose and takes possession of the ball.

Good point I just assumed he had possession and you're right the replay didn't show it, but that was how I understood if he DID have possession.

They were close calls, but I don't think the Jets have much reason to complain about either of them. For all I know, maybe they HAVEN'T complained about them.

Here's a tip for the Jets' receivers: Next time, try not to let the defender rip the ball out of your hands. That's not something that happens when the ball is caught cleanly and secured, like it's supposed to be.
