I believe it was indeed the lost Superbowl for the Packers.

The wicked part is, one only get's a shot at the Super Bowl every so very few times.

Nice to see someone else agrees with me. And... Aaron would would be a Super Bowl Champion Q.B. right now if it was not for him. You know. Him, the same feller who is fucking the Vikings right now.

Good, Honest, Factual, Read........

How is it that Brett Favre "lost" this game?

Seems to me that MM should have made the change at halftime. if he really thought it would make the difference in the game.

Obviously MM didn't have the balls to make the move, he obviously couldn't make the defensive adjustments that were needed to stop The Giants in the 2nd half, even if he did, there was no guarantee The packers would have won that game or The Superbowl.

I'm not defending Brett here, i was screaming at the TV when the game was on to make the move, everybody could see Favre was really being effected by the weather.

It;s real easy to pile on Brett Favre right now, but does it really make any difference? The past is the past, here's to hoping AR gets his chance again real soon, he had one last year, but couldn't close the deal.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

RP I respect you and your comments but making a tile like that is like me saying Matt Flynn would be a Super Bowl champion if we would have pulled Rodgers during the wild card game last year. Rodgers has had 2 plus years so far and I don't see any changes made. I think the NFL has figured out Rodgers this year.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

That would very much not be the same, really.

But I do get what you're saying.

I know that during that game I wanted them to pull Favre and put in Rodgers. Favre looked miserable. (and that was back when I still cared about him) Never the less... It didn't happen and it's better left in the past.

DH- as for the comment about replacing Rodgers with Flynn. Flynn wasn't ready to take the the starting QB spot and still isn't. Rodgers was ready during the playoffs against the Giants. The NFL has figured him out? So that's the reason we haven't been playing as well this year? All this time I've been blaming key injuries and lack of focus.

I was saying things at the screen like, "Too cold for you Brett?" No question I would have benched him. Guaranteed he'd have pulled diva act if benched too. If they would have won (and they would have) it would be been a huge distraction the week before the Superbowl.
I believe Favre throws these games intentionally. I believe there is some Chmura type blackmail over Favre's head. We now see what his judgment is like vis a vis women. Remember when he laid down for the Strahan sack record? Well, he does the same thing in big games. Consistently.

I don't think it's necessary to stoop to conspiracy-theory mongering to explain events in Brett Favre's life.

You ever see that photo of everyone being open on that play, EXCEPT the guy he was throwing to?
What really convinced me of this "theory" was the NFCCG last year. How is Brett gonna play so perfectly ALL YEAR, then in THAT game, he throws THOSE interceptions? Please.
I was sitting there at my buddy's house watching the game. They're all Queens fans, being I live in Minneapolis now. And it was weird, because I called each and every one of those INTs. I KNEW they were coming before they even broke the huddle. No bullshit. The only one I got wrong was when Favre/Apete fumbled on the goal line. I thought he'd throw an INT there, but it was almost just as well.
But let's be real. Favre is putting himself out there to be blackmailed. We see that clearly now.

I have an open mind. Present me with some evidence and I'll be happy to take it into consideration. All you're doing right now is spreading scurrilous and potentially libelous speculation.
