I really hope Nance gets his chance. I think he has the attributes to be a good player. Maybe even a gamechanger in the future.

I'd love for both Nance and Starks to have great NFL careers and be real gamechanger, but neither seems to have the attributes to do that.
There's something that can be said for a guy who had a good college career but average measurables or vice versa. They both looked awfully average all-around, though. I guess Starks has some good speed for his size, but that's about it.
We found Grant as a guy who was spitting carries in Notre Dame just about his entire career, having a very good year when he did carry the load all by himself. He also ran a 4.43 40, while being an inch shorter than Starks and being 4 pounds heavier.
The signs are there for some hidden gems.
I don't see any signs for either Starks or Nance.
I'm not saying that they can't develop and become good players, but I just don't see what Nelson is seeing.
