When the 10 mil was put into the contract, both sides knew that they wouldn't stay true to that. Hawk knows it's either release or restructured. Right now, I'd consider restructuring it. Hawk has been really solid this season. He's earning his keep.

Love the Bishop/Hawk duo out there...shocked there are still some doubters of Hawk after the past couple of weeks.

Bishop can bring the boom...very exciting to watch.

I didn't like the scheme overall -- it was too reminiscent of what they did last year to no avail -- but I was very pleased with a lot of the individual performances put up by our players. Individual performances can outshine a scheme, just as a scheme can hamstring excellent individual performances.

Disagree.. they were bringing players from all over.. Woodson corner blitzed at least 3 times that I can remember.. plus they were not rushing two exclusively at all.. can't think of too many plays were Matthews and Jones/Another Backer were sent..

I'm with Pack93z here. I thought Capers coached a fine game yesterday.

AP was hot. We did our best to contain him but what are you going to do? He was breaking tackles.

Favre only got sacked once because his release was so fast, which for us was a good thing as at least one of his INTs was because he got the ball off too quickly. We were getting in, much better than last year.

Ironic as it may sound, I'm really pleased the defense gave up so many yards on the ground. To me it shows that the defense was focused more on stopping the pass and less focused on the run game. I don't mind if the other team grinds out a lot of yards on the ground. As long their passing attack is hamstrung, the Packers will win more often than not.

I didn't see as much of this game as I would have liked. I'm going to have to download it and watch it in its entirety.

Hawk should just sign an extension. He's a solid player, but has just not lived up to what we thought we had drafted. I don't think we have a $10M man on our defense, but we have a lot of fine football players.

They correctly shadowed Randy Moss all game long. They weren't willing to let the deep pass beat them.

I think they contained Peterson quite well. I know he had his yards and touches, but he didn't break anything. Though he came close near the end there. He's the best runner of his generation. Defending him like this is the best thing they can do IMO.
