I've been tough on Aaron the last 2 weeks. I didn't think his fundamentals
were sound, etc.

He's cleaned that up, but needs to still work on the decision making.

That being said..

OH it is SWEET to Whoop Farve, and in reality..let Favre dig his own grave on the football field.

All of his flaws(which Aaron doesn't have) is what did #4 in.
Gunslinger, risktaker, ignoring the gameplan.

Childress wanted to chew out Favre for that.

That game last night was oh so sweet.
We may have escaped that game with a win..but it's still a win.

p.s. Not suprised at all by the Favre/Sterger stuff. I posted years back that I saw Favre at the ProBowl and the Sterger stuff just validates what I already knew. I rest my case on that.

All of his flaws at out in the open to see.

I'm just glad we have #12 now.

I'm glad too. 2010 Aaron > 2010 Favre.

I had no problem with all the throwaways. Call them back shoulder throws or whatever, they were throwaways. He took enough hits this year that he didn't trust the OL. The OL did what it could to earn its trust back and played a superb game yesterday. I still don't trust it.

We didn't do any Whooping.. we found a way to win.

But I agree.. there had to be some internal sweetness for Aaron with the W last night.

Would love to know what was said between him and Brett after the game.. looked like there were some emotions in their faces.

My wife noticed that the exchanged looked emotional as they spoke,
but as soon as Favre turned away, it looked like he had that "whatever"
look to his face in response to Aaron's gestures.

My concern last night.. was the lack of continuity between Aaron and the receivers as a whole.. my breakdowns in reads and the route trees.. something is off there.. just not sure what.

Aaron expecting curls or outs and the receivers running gos, posts and deep slants.. hard to believe they are that out of sync on the reads.

Favre, IMO, was doing his best to keep his emotions in check upon the field.. I believe he is honest that this particular loss was personally devastating.

What did you see Favre doing? And the last time Brett actually made a trip to Aloha Stadium was in the 90's.

a win is a win, but let's face it Rodgers played awful. he just looked completely lost, clueless. he made so many terrible throws on simple routes, in a big game.

he did not seem to have any drive to win this game.

The biggest thing was Rodgers stayed in the pocket and stepped up into the protected areas. Most of the sacks last game were because he'd try to get outside the pocket before he needed to, meaning he'd step outside the boundary in which he had protection in. Result was sacks.

Awful's a bit strong no? He had 295 yards rushing and 2 TDs and finished with a passer rating of 84.3 He wasn't at his best for sure, but he was way better than awful.
