This season the packers run game has been their biggest weakness... Ryan Grant only has one 100 yard game.. and it still took him over 30 carries to get this. So what do u think the packers need to do to get the running game going? and what will they do.. if anything?

Ryan grant has not done a good job, almost failing so far.. what the should they do about him? is it time to go brandon jackson or what?

I dont think they go to Brandon Jackson. Its been looking better lately. If anything, we need a new lineman or two. Not a new RB. Now on that note, i thought our O line preformed well against the colts. I had no complaints.

Our offensive line just isn't that good. They have inconsistent for 2 1/2 years now. We shouldn't be talking about pad level and fundamentals after 2 1/2 years.

I think Ted will focus on offensive linemen in next years draft. I don't think Grant is the problem, although he does go down way too easy.

I think Jackson needs to see more playing time.

Unless the O-line starts opening some holes, i don't think it matters WHO runs the ball.
I would almost go with Wynn. He's a bruiser and i think he would get some tough yards on his own.
Why not give him a shot? Not much to lose as i see it.

I think they we need to run more counter plays. I don't think I've seen too many this season and last year I noticed it quite a bit. And we were successful.


edit, get this, Ryan Grant is still on pace to hit over 1,000 yards. Woopity doo.

i like grant and in the colts game he did okay he seems to be on pace but he needs to run where they aren't having a pile up he needs better vision like barber i would say peterson but he runs up the middle to he does have to be a bulldozer

Couple things...we need to lose the ZBS in the off season and go back to the power gap scheme. I like Grant but a stout bruiser like Javon Ringer would do wonders for us maybe Ted Thompson could add a power back to his draft list.
As for the rest of the season keep pounding the rock..would have been nice to see Lumpkin healthy in the mix.

My more realistic suggestion to resurrect our running game, trick Barry Sanders into coming out of retirement.
