Of course you need to let guys compete for spots and earn their spots, but I think day one of training camp (assuming everyone is healthy) next year, they should have Douglas and Alexander starting at CB out of base with Stokes coming off the bench.
I've thought nickel would be best Savage's best spot for years, but they didn't have the Safety depth to move him to the slot. Last year they finally did, but with Amos and Ford being FAs, might get interesting there.
Also, not in this article, but one rumor (probably nothing but a writers speculation) is if the Packers don't think they'll resign Savage then the Packers might try to trade Savage to free up the $7.9 million 5th year option that he's currently working on, to free up cap space and sign or resign other vets Safety to long term deals that would be more cap friendly being back loaded.
