53 Players + 2009 Rodgers = 6-0

Rodgers has been terrible this year.

Poor offensive line play has a lot to do with this. I guess Rodgers has had just about enough of that crap. Combine that with the lack of calls when defenders lay him out, and hell yeah, I'd probably have happy feet too.

I agree with this, yet would like to point out that last year we set a team record on sacks given up. So it isn't like we should some how expect better pass protection.

Nonsense. We didn't change players, coaches or scheme. Why shouldn't we get better results? </sarcasm>

Bottom line is that injuries happen every year to every team - we've just been hit especially hard. Hats off to the team for not folding up their tents and quitting.

I don't know of any team that has had this level of injuries and won. Everybody can be all PC and say, "Injuries Dont matter" but the truth is they do. That type of statement is something I would expect from McCarthy or Ted at a press conference.

Backups are backups for a reason. They are not as good. When you lose a starter, sure you can hope that the backup steps up, and the others on the field rally and compensate for that injury. When you lose the 2nd, you now have 1 less starter to rally around the now 2 injured players. Every time you add an injured the task is harder. At somepoint, it is no longer possible to overcome.

I have still be fairly satisfied with the Defense. They are doing what they can, but the injuries have mounted to where they are to much. Get Matthews and Pickett back, get Bigby and Harris from PUP, and they have a good chance again. But as it was last 2 games. I just to much.

What can you do? You are allowed 53 players, and only so much money to spend. When your 1st and 2nd stringers go down, you're pretty much screwed.

AR hasn't had enough time to FIND an open guy. He's getting killed. I doubt he will make it through the season. Give him the amount of time Henne had, and he'd put up 5 TD's a game.

Someone please tell me why the hell we have to be so injured? We have had a chance to win all of our games. We have been in them all if all 53 players are healthy we're 6-0 no doubt.

But the real question is when is the last time any team has seen this kind of misfortune on their team? I wanna know cause if they overcame it then im hoping we can

2008. But it's not the injuries that have cost us these games.

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
