I think the freakouts after a loss are just funny if anything. I've never really been one to speculate a lot during the weeks. I just want to enjoy the god damn football.

Like everyone else said "Wrong timing" it's nice story in my opinion just not now you can say at the end of day another game, I have a hard time seeing that 2 straigh ot losses could be leading the divison even with all these injuries if would of managed to pull 4-2 we'd be tied sorry thats how im feeling right now

Had I not know Dan personally, I probably would not have posted the story. I was disappointed that the Packers lost, but as pack93z said, it's just a game and life goes on.

As for the timing of my post as BigFog and Greg C alluded to.............If you start to cross the street and a runaway truck takes you out, THAT'S bad timing. If you come home from work early and find your wife in bed with the neighbor guy, THAT'S bad timing. If you call in sick to work and you cross paths with your boss and the company board of directors on the 15th fairway, THAT'S bad timing.

If I had waited until February to post this, that's bad timing. So, I think my timing was perfect, and I was not in anyway trying to rub it in the face of Packer Fans.

And rodgehodge, how about McKnights kick Saturday night to beat Portland State with 00.00 left on the clock?

Stop freaking out for once. A guy here met three NFL players. Just because we lost, and you are apparently emotionally very distressed by that, doesn't mean these kinds of stories are not worth hearing.

Those games nearly kill me! McKnight's been great this year, though. I'm still a little bummed about Selle.

So your "everything sucks!" posts are better? It's frustrating to watch your favorite team lose - we all get that. But the OP is a great Packers fan who happens to know the 'Phins kicker personally. He's not happy the Packers lost, he's happy for his friend. How is that a bad thing?
