A few weeks ago, the Lions were playing the Vikings. Some of us were pulling for the Vikings to lose, or the Lions to win, however you want to say it.

IronMan took it too far and shouted something to the effect "whats next, Packer fans rooting for the Cowboys in a few weeks when Vikings play them too?"

I hardly consider the Lions in the same field of dislike and hatred as the Cowboys.


But that week is upon us ... I thought I'd be pulling for the Cowboys to win and was hoping for some good rah rah stuff for IronMan, but I can't stomach the thought of wanting either team to win.

Here's to hoping both teams beat the snot out of one another and it ends in a tie of failure.

I will be cheering loudly for the Cowboys, with no apologies whatsoever. The Vikings are our division rival. It is a higher priority for them to lose than it is for the Cowboys, who are merely a conference rival. Plus, even aside from that, I hate the Vikings more than I hate the Cowboys.

I root for one team. The Packers.

I always root for AFC teams over NFC teams

Then NFC teams over other NFC North teams.

How could anyone watch a division rival play a non-division team and NOT root for that team?

I'll be hoping the Cowboys win Sunday.
