I am all for waiting for it to play out.. but her lawyer didn't say she didn't want to cooperate.. more or less what is in her best interest.

Read into that as you may.. some think it is precursor to a settlement to make it go away.

If she doesn't cooperate or collaborate the information.. I agree he doesn't face suspension.. that is unless more come forward.. the count right now is three women.

I don't see it at all as him being suspended. He's Brett Favre and the damn commissioner advocated his unretirement back in '08 with a private discussion between he and the Packers.

Do I think the NFL will do everything they can to avoid a suspension? Absolutely.

But if the pressure mounts and proof goes public and collaborated there.. I think they have little choice but to put him on the hook.

IMO... it really depends on how much more comes to light in this publicly..

It just occurred to me that the timing of this scandal is not so good, considering that the NFL is promoting breast cancer awareness this month. Still, it's hard to imagine Favre being suspended for this. And it's even harder to imagine him sitting out a game of his own accord. He will go down swinging.

I can see them stretching the whole thing out till the end of the season, blaming the woman for not cooperating.
By then Favre can retire, and the whole mess won't matter.

Still going on this huh?

Chick is gonna get a settlement to shut up, or won't say anything.

What about the other 2. The married ones.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Right, but it wasn't until just recently (the past few days) when her lawyer mentioned how she will do what is in her best interest (read: the lawyer's best interest). Prior to the lawyers and ESPN reporting this, back when she was paid by DeadSpin to get the info, she said she just wanted this whole thing to blow over and have a few laughs with people about Favre's wiener.

If this is pursued via her and her lawyer, I'll concede that the driving force is her lawyer. And probably a little greed on her end.

Either way, Favre is definitely paying for the crap he's done (if he's done it.. which I think he did) by the embarrassment, much less whatever comes down the pike via the NFL.

BINGO

Thats why I say this should be on the top of the list not only cuz he "might" retire next year but also they are on the heels of that Mexican lady reporter in the Jets locker room thing

The NFL cant have 2 issues like this happening and nothing be done about it

I'm just wondering what kind of women they are, I mean hell how many women keep voice mails and text messages for over 2 years? Also wasn't it funny that they made the story popular the week the Vikes were playing the Jets.

It's all getting old and I am sure you will have others come up with stuff just to try and get some cash.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
