Reported that he has been cut by the saints to make room for Julius Jones. If healthy picking him up would seem to make sense. Thoughts?

i never liked him he won't really help us that much besides having some little depth.Hes not much better than kuhn imo.Wonder if the pack will make a move before the deadline thoe but imho we should get a S.Peppy was ok but not great he gave up a big TD S would be a better option for us plus losing martin for who knows how long won't help either.

I don't think the Saints even had him on their active roster until like October 2nd so if the Packers wanted to sign him they could have before then. It's not like he hasn't been available almost this whole time.

If we sign him, I think it'd mean a FB going on IR (probably Johnson). No way we keep 2 FBs and 4 RBs (including Kuhn) with the other injuries we have right now.

He certainly has experience in our scheme, has some playmaking potential, and perhaps above all else is a draft pick of Ted.

Wynn had some spark but he couldn't stay on the field. Of those available he is probably the best fit with his familiarity with the offense.

He did have a nice Long TD for us once.

Using up another roster spot for a mediocre RB just doesn't seem like it would make that much sense right now. I mean honestly does anybody see him adding much more than Bjax and Kuhn do already?

No, but it'd be hard for him not to add more than Dimitri Nance does at this point.

I'd rather Wynn than Nance.
