I've always liked Eminem. The most talented rapper, IMO, that I've ever heard. I'm not huge into rap, but there's just something about the guy that attracts me to his stuff.

As a Christian, I wish he would do cleaner, more upbeat stuff.. But I still listen to him because he's just that damn good.

Eminem was the first artist whom I loved every track on the CD. Started with the Marshall Mathers LP (I didn't get into him until after Slim Shady LP was out), loved every song, then the Eminem Show, and finally Encore. All three of those albums I loved every track. Em went AWOL for a bit and I started changing the stuff I did/listened to. But have downloaded the 3 singles from Recovery (Love The Way You Lie, Not Afraid, and No Love) and enjoy them thoroughly.

I don't get "rap".
Maybe it's because anyone that can talk, can rap......unlike singing, which takes real talent.
Plus, the vast majority of rap is negative. Killing, drugs, rape, "bitches and ho's" and such.
I don't find that entertaining at all. It glorifies the whole "gangsta" lifestyle. I see so many kids dressed like that, that act like that, with no respect and manners. Is that really what we want kids to look up too? Sadly, many of them don't have a man (or woman) in their lives TOO look up to.
