Did anyone else notice that the refs were TERRIBLE during this game? It seems to me like the NFL is out against Green Bay, the calls have been terrible all year for the Packers...

It seemed to me like whenever something happened that was questionable, the refs would wait on the crowd's reaction to throw the flag. Whenever the crowd went crazy, one of the refs would reach for the yellow cloth.

I was so pissed off, and that's part of the reason I have a sore throat and can barely talk right now.

On one of the most critical calls of the game, it was the opposite. The one ref threw the flag on the Packers for PI then the others came in, talked for like a minute and picked up the flag. And it turned out it was PI. If one saw a PI and threw the flag, how can someone else talk him out of it? He was right infront of the play.

Bad refs but it was both ways.

Personally, I thought Bishop made a great play. There is always going to be contact on every single play. He may of got there early, but he also was going for the ball the whole way. I think they made the right call, but I've always felt that the players should be allowed leeway. That was one that could have gone either way IMO.

Remember, Troy Aikman always favors the offense when calling games. Bring in John Lynch and he has a different point of view on that play.

Though they missed a bad one on Woodson in the first half. That one was ridiculous. He clearly interfered with Santana Moss.

But then again, they apparently missed another helmet to helmet call on Aaron Rodgers. First time, it's a mistake. Second time, I can understand where some would feel like they're piling on.

I think the officials as a whole have sucked this year. Not only have I seen some bad calls against the Pack, but many other games this year as well. I don't blame the loss entirely on bad officiating, but it sure doesn't help the situation.

I agree with this. Officiating as a whole has gotten extremely annoying in any NFL game I watch. I don't know if it's sloppy play, sloppy officiating or both.

It seems like the refs were allowing a lot of contact early, but then called it tight near the end. In general, I mean. There were exceptions.

I actually thought the non-call on what looked to many like obvious PI on Woodson against Moss was the right call, because Woodson was moving toward the ball and Moss was not. Moss was not expecting the throw, so he just stood there flat-footed as it flew past him, and he was between Woodson and the ball, so when Woodson moved toward the ball he ran into Moss's back.

their @$$ and start playing some ball. Stop using the refs as excuses and since no one wants to hear about the injuries we have and that management is doing nothing about it, start playing with the players we have!!!

Let's start playing some ball and stop the excuses. We are dealt the hand we have. Get use to it, Ted Thompson boys that he has drafted need to step up, now let's see what we have.

With the amount of similair topics we have going on here, this one adds very little.

Next to that, I haven't heared a single Packer player using injuries or calls against us as an excuse.

Who exactly are you yelling at here?

Woodson also was almost horsecollaring Moss to get around him. Very easily could have been a PI and I saw at least 2 blatant holds by Bulaga on Orakpo that EASILY could have been called.

These "refs are losers" threads are nauseatingly predictable. With the exception of a possible hold of Matthews on the near-safety, virtually all 'blown calls' were of little consequence to the outcome. The packers had ample opportunities to put this one away and for reasons unbeknownst to me, opted not to.

I would add that Clifton could have been called several times (again) for lining up off the line of scrimmage.

If you want to argue that refs could do a better job, that's fine with me. But if you argue that the refs cost the came or such, sorry, I'm with musccy.

If the Packers want to know why they lost this game, they should use the mirrors in the locker room for something other than Arthur Fonzarelli imitations.

Horsecollar, nice exaggeration. Every DB/LBer holds in coverage, ever olineman holds there is a penalty to be called very snap if they wanted to.

we go away with a few, they got away with a few. The only one that I think was BS was the non-helmet to helmet. That is the refs primary job and it was blown.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!
