Rookie first-round pick Bryan Bulaga made his first NFL start, filling in at right tackle for injured veteran Mark Tauscher (shoulder).
While it appeared as though Bulaga played well, he was flagged twice for false starts, the second infraction being the most costly.
The Packers were facing third-and-7 on the opening possession of overtime when Bulaga jumped the snap count, resulting in a third-and-12. Rodgers was sacked for an 8-yard loss on the next play, forcing a punt.
Thats the thing that jumps out to me. It stalled us out on that drive, Bulaga said. Thats just the bottom line of it. Who knows? We probably wouldve converted that. Instead, it pushes us back 5 (yards). Thats what sticks out to me. The mistakes like that, they kill a drive. I couldve played a perfect game up until that not saying that I did, but I couldve and doing that wouldve ruined my day. Mistakes like that cant happen.
