with Barnett out, it is time for Desmond Bishop to shine. He feels he can start on another NFL team, and this is his opportunity to show it. He is a strong inside player.

ya I got to admit even thou Im a big bishop fan; I have a bit of hesitation when it comes to him replacing barnett; ie think hes a better run stuffer and pass rusher but as a coverage guy not so good. And we already got 2 good pass rushers in matthews and zombo.
Although matthews can cover at least decent

BUT how often does Matthews go into coverage? Almost never. He is like another DE. The reason he hasn't done as well in the last two weeks is because teams are starting to realize that he's coming in hot almost every single play.

What Packer games do you watch?? Matthews read is usually the backs, if the stay home he comes, he the release he drops into coverage. You think he is coming all the time due to the backs are usually chipping expecting him to come. The dude has speed in coverage as well.
Bishop, doesn't start for a reason. Too many mistakes!!!! The man can hit, but he gives up too many big plays, that is the reason he is a reserve.
The one thing I can not understand is Ted Thompson sitting on his @$$ after we lose a STARTING RB, ILB, S and have 2 of Oline hurting and then another 1 LB and 1 S out.
At this stage I think all agree we are not SB material, to many key losses already and no one to fill the voids.
