With the exception of the OL, this Packer team has the personnel that should be able to put lower-tier teams away early. And with the exception of Foster, Rourke, and a couple others, most people kept telling me in the offseason that we had a perfectly serviceable OL.
Really good teams should be able to put lower-tier teams away early. And even if you don't always do so, if you get four lower-tier opponents in a row (sorry, Grizz, despite Chi's 3-1 record, they're still lower tier), you should be able to do it once or twice.
Washington is a lower-tier team, just like the last three opponents. Ergo, the game should be put away early.
That it probably won't be -- just like the last three games weren't -- doesn't mean it shouldn't happen.
And Finley, if the team is up by 40 at the half, Rodgers should sit. There ain't no way McNabb can bring the Redskins back to win.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
