I doubt this will be an easy game. It all depends on who decides to perform Sunday. McNabb can be dangerous when he gets in a groove, and for some reason I think he may do just that. I feel that our D is going to untimately win or lose this game. Woody and CM3 are great weapons against an offense like Washington (ok, so they are great weapons against ANY offense).

We all know our offense is more than reliable when needed, so I am not worried about that. If we can establish a run (which hasn't been our strongest asset thus far as we all know) - - - but seriously, even a few 5-10 yarders early on would do us some wonders. Aside from the running game, I have little concern on offense.

With the exception of the OL, this Packer team has the personnel that should be able to put lower-tier teams away early. And with the exception of Foster, Rourke, and a couple others, most people kept telling me in the offseason that we had a perfectly serviceable OL.

Really good teams should be able to put lower-tier teams away early. And even if you don't always do so, if you get four lower-tier opponents in a row (sorry, Grizz, despite Chi's 3-1 record, they're still lower tier), you should be able to do it once or twice.

Washington is a lower-tier team, just like the last three opponents. Ergo, the game should be put away early.

That it probably won't be -- just like the last three games weren't -- doesn't mean it shouldn't happen.

And Finley, if the team is up by 40 at the half, Rodgers should sit. There ain't no way McNabb can bring the Redskins back to win.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Are Oline gave up only 5 sacks this year which is a huge improvement.Basicly if we can figure out ST and some bad penalties we could be a very good team again.(I think we only gave up 2 or 3 penalties which is very big improvement from the chi game with 18 of them)

Our offensive line is giving up fewer sacks because Rodgers is rolling out a large percentage of the time (I'd love to see the exact numbers) and because he is making a conscious effort to release the ball faster. Of course, that's leading to more interceptions, exactly as I predicted would happen last year. It's going to come back to bite us a few times this year if the trend doesn't reverse.

I'd far rather have Rodgers take an extra few sacks (just go down when the inevitable is about to happen; he doesn't have to let himself get clobbered) than throw interceptions. Sacks set the offense back a few yards. Interceptions put the ball in the hands of the other team with a chance to score. Statistically and historically, there is no disputing that interceptions are far more harmful to a team's success than sacks.

It seems the parody in the NFL is "working". On any given day, one team can beat any other team.
I'm nervous about every game.

I am feelimg cautious about this game.

I hope we win but can see it being close.

27 - 24 pack win

But a win is a win and we go 4 - 1 into 2 home games.

I'm kind of worried about Torain. He looked really good last week and I think he might just have a breakout game against us. With that being said, Sunday is my birthday and I would absolutely love a Packers win as a present!

We need to make a statement as a team this week and win and have a good win with all these injures I hope these other guys are ready to step up and I have faith in this whole team.If we want to be a superbowl team which is always possible we have to overcome Burnett,Barnett and Grants Injures. We can do it.GO PACK GO!!!!!

beast (10-Feb) : I think the Saints traded up, giving their next year 1st to the Eagles, and then they sucked and Eagles got the 10th overall pick

TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Getting Carter and Nolan Smith in the first round in 2023 was pretty darn good
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : for some reason i'm thinking of a draft where the Eagles where in the mid 20s and a top player fell all the way to them
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : I think so. I would need to look it up. Think it may have been Carolina's pick.

Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : oh fuck me i messed that up
    Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Jordan Davis was 13th overall
    Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Carter was 9th overall
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Eagles had 15th and 10th selections, moved to 13 and 9 to get Davis and Carter back to back
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Eagles traded up for Carter, didn't they?
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Obviously he was a huge risk but getting a top 5 talent on the dline in the mid 20s is fortuitous
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Jalen Carter falling into their lap certainly helps
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : And we could only wish to have this type of D
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : It's not like Philly has had low draft picks, but has managed to get themselves a top notch pass rush. We spend so much draft capital of D
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : another crap halftime show
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : I think it is over, but then I think of Atlanta and want Philly to go in with the same intensity in the second half
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : And with a Pass Rush that might as well be on a milk cartoon and no Jaire
Martha Careful (10-Feb) : I cant help but feel good about how well the Packers D played in Philly during the playoffs
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : this game is over
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : This might be the kill shot here
