He's now subjected to the scutiny of the NY media, and they are definitely starting to do a little mumbling. He might be playing injured...

Fans seem to be doing a little grumbling...

Brett's been struggling, funny though if you go to the poll on the right side of the article, 51% are saying the play calling stinks, that is the root cause for the losses.
Brett showed off the long ball in overtime, if it wasn't for the wide receiver slipping and falling down it would have been another "Monday night at Denver ending."
Those things happen, hopefully Brett isn't hurt, just a sub-par day last Sunday.

I watched that game on NFL Replay last night.. it was an awful offensive game for the Jets.. honestly.. one can't hang that solely on Brett..

Regardless of all the off field talk.. the man can still play QB. No doubt.

Not that I could tell.. he looked like the same guy throwing off balance and slinging it around.

One thing that I did notice.. he looked tired..

Here in Pennsylvania they put a smoking ban in place just prior to the start of the season. Anybody remember Earl Weaver, the Orioles manager? He had a relief pitcher he nicknamed "two pack"... Two Pack Stanhouse, to be exact, because every time Earl sent him out to pitch, Earl would consume two packs of cigarettes waiting for him to get the job done. Same with me and Brett... I always loved the "Good Brett", but being a fatalist, would worry about the re-emergence of "Bad Brett". Those were usually one pack games. Whenever I got "Bad Brett", I would hope for the re-emergence of "Good Brett". Those were two pack games. Now, I don't want to argue or discuss AR vs. BF, but I will say that the switch was timely in that I'm down to less than half a pack per game for the first time in memory. I wonder if anyone is doing a study up in NY regarding cigarette consumption during Jet games.

The Jets need to continue wearing those ugly throwback uniforms.
Everytime they do Brett has a pretty good day and the Jets win.

What are the odds they wear them again this week at home?

Playing KC a good chance to get healthy and back on the winning track.

This is kind of what I meant by the MVP talk. Let's wait and see. I don't think the Jets are 3-3 if Favre isn't their QB. I think they maybe win one game and that's against the Bengals. I think Jet fans probably should relax and let things play out. I still think if they get to 8 or 9 wins this year, that's a good season for a team that was 4-12 the year before.

I read somewhere that you're only allowed to wear them twice in a season, which sucks because they're obviously good luck. Defenders take one look at the jersey and they fall down laughing and the WR is wide open.

Now we are talking about Brett Favre here!!! The man who will sell a million of those if he wears it enough(got me, bought mine a month ago!!!!)
Maybe Brett should call someone......................................................

NO DON'T DO IT BRETT!!!!!!

.The New York Media cann be tough, but Brett is a pretty straight shooter when it comes to being interviewed, I think they will give him a little more time than most to see what happens.

4-12 to 9-7 would not be a bad 1 year improvement.
Raider game hurt, now The Jets need to win one that they are not suppose to to make up for it.

10-6 still possible!!!!!
