The biggest surprise to me is after an awful O-line last year the Jets broke the bank and have 4 frist rounders now on their line but I havn't seen Brett hit like this since we started all the rookies in GB. That and running that spread Offense every play to start the game against the Raiders almost got him killed

Yeah, I believe he's been sacked more than Rodgers this year if I remember correctly and we all no how down on our own line we've been.

Well, an OL needs time to learn to play together. I think next year, they'll be better together.

Yeah, it seems that way. We live in New Jersey, so every other TV at the sports bar has either the Jets or the Giants. Since Jets played at 4:00, the TV next to ours had the Jets. We looked over during commercials. The O line does seem to need to get used to playing together. I've seen Favre connect with them well at times, during other games, but they have to get to the point where the connection is consistent.

Agreed.
Yet another reason I hope BF plays another year after this one. Imagine how good he'd be with a solid OL.

There is no one the Jet's could have started this year that would have been better than Brett. Brett is still better than Chad was for the Jets.

Forget the revenue for a moment.... Look at his play. It has been very good, until the Raiders Game. Brett will be Brett. He will probably throw 5 T.D.'s this Sunday and zero picks.

You got that right. He will be very good next year, once the OL falls into place (getting used to Favre's style and Favre getting used to theirs).

Overally the Jets fans seem happy to have Favre. My cousin's a Jets fan and she's happy to have him on the team. But Favre will be Favre. He has his good days and his bad days.
