If one more person suggests cutting Bush without telling me who will replace him, and who will replace the person who replaces him if you're not talking about a trade/FA signing, I'm going to cut him. If you're suggesting that we trade for someone or sign a free agent, say who. It's easy to say "LOL he sucks", it's harder to actually find something better.

Come on, Porforis. You know they're going to pick up Nmandi Osomugha to replace Bush, after all.

I think that thin air in Colorado is getting to Kevin. First the post with nested "Source: Me" boxes. Now a list of numbers.

Either that or he's getting ready to switch to Koans-R-Us for PH hosting.

Om.

If they return from PUP

"coltonja" wrote:

Naturally. If they don't return it becomes a moot point.

I myself still question Harris ability to cover. Perhaps he would be better suited to Safety.

"wpr" wrote:

I have to diagree with you here, wpr. Harris is not a safety to be dropped into coverage. If we have Collins as a safety that is dropped back we need to have a stronger, bigger safety to stop a run that gets into the secondary, to guard a TE, and to occasionally drop back. But I do not like the idea of having two safeties drop back everytime and having two safeties that are not as much of a threat to help out the run.

"bozz_2006" wrote:

ok. my thought was based on the "what if Harris has lost too much speed to be an effective CB"? I don't know if that is true but if it is I would still like to see him out there on the field. safety seems like the place to stick him.

At this rate, if injuries continue to plague the Packers, the question behind this thread will become moot soon enough.

Burnett goes on IR, so Bigby would replace him.

For Al Harris, you cut either Underwood/Bush/Lee or McDonald. McDonald has no business still being on our roster.

I love these threads, because it is almost a "given" that Jarret Bush's name will be the 1st or 2nd player named.

The Packers have kept him around for 4+ years because he has proven his is durable, he is a special teams ace, and oh by the way, IMHO he is showing improvement each and every year.

JB hels his own yesterday, he had 5 tackles and at least 1 real nice pass defend/

You "haters" just keep hoping, I said it when some were all over Ryan Grant thinking an upgrade was needed.

I would not want underwood to go.I would rather see bush or lee go.Ya mcdonald should get cut and get on the practice squad. Now that I think about it you think that the packers will sign that guy off of the practice squad cause of Burnetts injure?Josh Gordy CB 5'11" 195 Central Michigan?
