Anyone else see Sitton in the goal line defense? I love the idea of getting our best players more opportunities to make plays.

I was just wondering if any other ideas you guys might have about playing guys in their unnatural position.

I personally would love to see us use Tramon or Collins on offense. I could totally see us using a fake reverse with Collins to set up a deep pass to Finley or Jennings.

Thoughts?

I think when your only job is to try and collapse the line (like the middle linemen do in goal line formations) putting Sitton in there was a good move.

I'm not against trick plays like you mentioned, just as long as we don't do them too often.

I dont think it was a trick play, we just didn't have enough d-lineman to run a goal line set.

With the running game not as dominant as most would like, I would love to see GJ or DD getting involved in some reverses or even fake the reverse with them throwing the ball downfiled.

As AR said. the playmakers on this team have numbers in the 80's, why not get them involved as much as possible.

Another player we could use on offense as a trick play is Sam Shields. Remember: he used to be a WR.

Trick plays are for inferior teams. I thought it was dumb enough watching our special teams run around like women on that kick return. Lose like men.

And Sitton on the goal line DLine was mentioned by the broadcasters as well. Our depth at DLine is that shallow. But hey, Sitton did the job, so can't complain either.
