It is the thing to do these days.. if you don't make the catch.. throw your hands up and whine. All teams do it, it just seems elevated on against the Pack with the way we physically play the game.

His whining talked the crew into flagging Chillar and Williams on close plays.

Can't stand it, but it has become a good share of the game today.. piss and moan.

Well........the reason we see him whining more now is, his team is losing!
I never liked Dan Marino either......he seemed like a jerk too.
The video that was posted (i forgot who posted it) on the previous page shows Manning in his true form. I thought the big guy was gonna deck him!

Exactly! That's why they do it - it won't change that play, but if it happens again, they are less likely to look the other way. I think all QB's get whiney in a game like the Colts had yesterday.

If you think Peyton is whining, you should hear their fans! Wah, wah, turning point of the game was not going for it on 4th down, wah, wah, the refs gave the Packers the game...

In all fairness, Manning had a case on a couple of occasions -- nothing that would've altered the outcome, but the refs were calling it a bit loose, as has been mentioned.

That said, he was clearly frustrated to the point of being a pretty massive crybaby out there yesterday -- credit to our D for making him that way.

You will never see AR do something like this..... I never see him screaming at the refs or the coaches.

To be fair, I know that he has only played half a season but I don't think he is that type of person.

To be fair, (thats not mocking you just.. shit nm) Rodgers has screamed at the OL at least one time. Back in I think '06 we were getting whooped up by the Patriots. I don't recall the time of the game, but Rodgers got slammed to the turf and looked at the OL, threw his hands up as if to say 'wtf guys'. I don't know what he said or if much was said, but its believed he had some unkind things to say. I read a report later that Rodgers apologized and took them out to dinner.

He was whining because he didn't get his superstar treatment. I noticed Ladanlian tomlinson acts like a little baby too when things don't his way. Did you ever watch him do a press conference after they lose he pouts like a 5 year old.

We were razzing him pretty good when he kept throwing his arms around crying to the officials. Little did he know, I had bribed the back judge on the way up here. He sat in front of me on my fight in to GB. I told him, Greg Jennings said you better call a "fair" game.

Ok, I didn't really bribe him, but he did sit in front of me.

Manning started his professional whining career at Tenn and I'm sure it will continue until he is out of football. Can you imagine him playing QB in place of Brett during our 4-12 year with no line and street free agent receivers? That would have been hilarious.
