I'd love to say I called this. But I didn't. I said it was possible, and I said I was choosing to be optimistic, but I did stop short of flat-out saying it was going to happen.

And... just like NormaL, I started Houston's D on my fantasy team over our own D. Bad me - bad, bad me.

It looks like this team is starting to gel and also play with more fire and intensity.
Grant is starting to look like his old self and Rodgers is looking better and more confident every game.
I think the defense played with more fire and intensity yesterday than they did at anytime last year.
Like alot of you I didn't have high expectations for a win yesterday but I think the Green Bay Packers are a team to be reckoned with from here on out.
I think the bye week will only make us better.

I started the Packers' D, but my backup D is the Chiefs so it wasn't a tough decision. Which reminds me, I need a different defense next week. :eeeek:

I'm wondering where the hell this type of performance has been all season. Outstanding game by our secondary, our offensive line wasn't a sieve. Grant was solid. Just good stuff all around. This is a performance they need to build on. I don't want to see them come out screwing around after the bye like they did last month.

They need not. We have a tough three game stretch ahead. We should be healthier than since before the season started which is a good thing. I am anxious to see how our defense will do with Harris, Bigby, and Harrell back in there. If Harrell actually surprises with some solid play we could be very difficult to score on.

If we can win two of three and one of those being a home win against the Bears I think we will finish the season strong again.

Very good time right now to get a week off.

LOL, you might want to get rid of the Chiefs. They play the Jets next week and Thomas Jones will run all over them. It's crazy that Tennessee got 300+ rushing yards against them this week.

This felt like one of those wins. Where the team gets it. we get healthy in the by week, and catch Tennessee coming off of a short week with Indy on Monday night. This is the first time all year though, that the defense played like last year. Physical, mean and beat receivers up.

but we all also need to keep in mind. This team will lose again before the season is over. We are still young, still inexperienced at certain positions and still have a tough remaining schedule. even a couple more losses wont be the end of the world. Just a reminder so that when we do end up losing a tough one... the knee jerks don't come in and tell us that Ted an Mike screwed this team and we will never win again. Just try and keep it on an even keel.

Yeah, I've been using GB's each week with the idea of using the Chiefs on the bye week...but that was from the draft. I'd rather go with GB on a bye than the Chiefs D at this point.

Well, I was right we'd score at least 28 points. I said that in another thread.

However, I was wrong when I said Woody would get an INT returned for a TD. Instead, Collins and Rouse both did. :D

I actually had a good feeling against the Colts. I think Peyton Manning's career's almost over. He's not what he used to be, and without Addai, he looked pretty sloppy out there. Should have been 4 picks. He got lucky it was just 2.

I totally agree with you keeping it on an even heel. As outstanding as the Packers played this week, we are young and inexperienced. They might make some mistakes here and there.
I was very excited for this win. They didn't just win, they dominated a top AFC team. The defense played an amazing game and made Manning look very foolish. When does Manning throw 2 pick 6's in one game? Our secondary is top-notch and if they continue to play the way they are, good things will happen. Beautiful timing for a bye week. I hope Indy beats up on Tennessee, giving us an even better chance of winning. If not, it would be nice to be the firs team to beat the Titans.
