can someone explain to me why he was moved? i guess i missed this when it happened and I don't see why we are changing something that worked so well?

The way it was, opposing teams could probably block both players with three linemen, but now they will have to double team both of them to make sure they get blocked, which you just can't afford to do on every snap because it opens up too many opportunities for other players on the defense.
