I wonder how much of our lack of movement in other teams players has to do with us trying to find out for sure what we have before discarding it in favor of someone elses trash?

I am all for developing players, I love to hold onto young players with upside.. but sooner or later you have to cut the cord so to speak...
That said, I am confident that Thompson, Mike McCarthy and the personnel staff have a better handle on it than I.. as they see things that I don't have access to.. but damn sometimes it seems to apparent from a distance that maybe they get to close to the situation to see it. IMO.
