My list includes just about every one of the games you guys have brought up. The St. Louis one was particularly hard for me to take because I'm from St. Louis and going back to school the next day was just brutal.

It has to be Super Bowl XXXII.

Because:
3. "Never lost a Super Bowl" much more impressive than "3-1".
2. I never liked John Elway -- anyone remember *his* approach to the draft? Still don't. I would have loved him to have never won a Super Bowl.
1. No "winner" lets the other team score as a strategic move. If you have to let the other team score to have a chance, you're already a loser. Yes, I mean you, Mr. H*lmgren Way.

Reasonably close second -- Atlanta playoff loss at Lambeau. If 4-0 "superbowl record would have been cool," "never lost a playoff game at Lambeau" is just amazing. That, to me, is when the "Lambeau homefield advantage died," and has yet to be regained.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

For me, hands down, the playoff loss to the eagles. There were so many bad calls in that game. It is known for 4th and 26 but I remember us failing to get in to the end zone from the 2 yrd line multiple times. Brent throwing a hail mary interception. I had to go out for a run after that loss or I was going to bash a door in.

Brett of course had to blow it with a stupid pick, but off memory, after the 4th and 26, same drive, Mike McKenzie dropped a game-ending pick near the end zone that would have ended that game.

Like you alluded to, so many reasons the pack should have won that one.

Musccy - Let's not forget punting at their 40 at 4th and 1. We had not one, not two, but 3 RBs who were averaging 5+ yards per carry who could have easily picked up that yard. Our OL was absolutely sick then. Heck, you or I probably could have picked up that 1 yard.

What did Sherman do? He punted. A first down there would have ended the game then and there.

I never forgave Sherman for that wimpy move.

But like Wade said, it's still the SB for me. I hate John Elway with a passion. Not as much as I hate the Cows, but he's up there on my list of things I hate. To lose a SB to my most hated player of the 80s really bothers me. I wanted us to be 4-0 like the Steelers at the time. Then we would have been one behind the Niners.

The worst one I was at personally was the 2006 season opener when Chicago absolutely DESTROYED us, 26-0. Ouch. That was a real kick in the nuts.

I think that was the first time I ever even saw them lose a game that I attended. I don't know which hurt more- watching the game, or the hangover from drinking it all away. I flew in from Colorado for THAT?

And that, my friend, is one of my favorite games I've ever seen (on TV though as I have yet to step foot in the sacred land that is Green Bay, WI).

I thought Favre had them lined up to go for it on 4th and 1 and they got a delay of game. They wound up punting on 4th and 6. I can't recall if it was intentional, trying to get them to jump or if it was just not watching the clock.
