This is an unpleasant thread, so I'm going to make this quick: It was the playoff loss to the 49ers that ended the 1998 season and any hopes of a dynasty. A game-winning catch by Terrell Owens and a blown call by the refs on what should have been a Jerry Rice fumble.

It was a bitter, bitter pill to swallow, and it was the end of the line for Mike Holmgren and Reggie White in Green Bay.

I have to go with a lot of playoff loses...

6 INTs to the Rams playoffs?
Vick at LAMBEAU
Vikings at LAMBEAU
4 and 26 to the Eagles
Super Bowl to the broncos
how about that regular season game against the Bills... we kicked their butts all over the field winning everything but the turn over battle and points on the board.

I'd have to say the Vick one was the worse for me... because I saw that one coming from a week or so away, and had a horrible gut feeling about that one and before the game begin I was like can we just please get this game over with already. Heck the week before I was wanting it over already... so it dragged out the longest so it bothered me.

The defense was just too banged up and injured. With little to no depth... it would of had to be a bad weather game where Vick couldn't throw and Favre could for the Packers to win that one... and it wasn't...

since this thread is full of bad vibes, just curious about your reaction to our loss at AZ.

I was honestly speechless, after the botched kick, and winning the coin toss I was feeling great about our chances, then it all came crashing down.

I don't think there's even a question for me. The only SB we ever lost. I wanted us to be 4-0, not 3-1.

Yeah, that one has to be right up there. Honestly, I think I mentally blocked it out when I opened this thread, because it is too recent and too painful.

I was stunned. Especially after Rodgers overthrew Jennings the play before. That, combined with the offense being on fire, I figured that the game was all but won. Of course, the football gods had better ideas.

Watching Rodgers and Co. fight back and come within striking distance of winning, and then come up short yet again seemed to be the theme of last season. I hope that doesn't continue into this season.

My list includes just about every one of the games you guys have brought up. The St. Louis one was particularly hard for me to take because I'm from St. Louis and going back to school the next day was just brutal.

I've only seen the Atlanta loss, 4th and 26 (gotta be the worst moment for me, still remember watching that streaming over the net), NFC Championship loss to the Giants and the unfortunate kick by Rodgers against Arizona.
