This was one of my main thoughts after the game. I'd be comfortable with Underwood and Lee starting for us right now. I like the future we have at CB.

Counting on Underwood(off the field stuff aside) isn't a bad idea. He's shown he can play pretty well(this is his 2nd year), maybe not starter material but I'm happy with as our 4th, maybe 3rd.

Counting on Pat Lee however, is almost like counting on Justin Harrell. He hasn't stayed healthy since day 1 either but isn't a #1 pick like Harrell so he gets a pass whereas Harrell gets ...well you seen.

Tramon, Underwood, and Pat Lee as our starters THIS year would be very scary but next year or so, it might not be too bad.

Of what I did see of the game, Tramon was giving his receiver a huge cushion. CHtv even highlighted it on youtube.

It's not his fault he was to play with that cushion. I thought he closed in rather well, but the cushion isn't his call.

Is it?

It might be his call, he probably saw something in the offense which he decided to leave a cushion maybe? Or could of just been a good read of the QB of the opposing defensive play.

Well you had Burnett coming up to cover the slot receiver on the weak side, which meant 1 deep safety. Tramon didn't have a hell of a lot of help deep so it would make sense that he gave the cushion. Maybe he could have gambled on the audible and stepped up a bit. It should be noted that both ILBs were blitzing as well, so Collins had a lot of area to cover. Seems like a safe call by Delhomme (a riskier call would have been to trust his pass pro and attack deep down the sidelines against the cover 1) and safe coverage by Tramon. Typical preseason crap.

Embedding is fine, just make sure to include a direct link to their site. Yes they did, because I was 'stealing hits' or something like that from them. Surprisingly enough, some create Packers related sites for financial gain through hits. The fella (Corey I think?) was nice about it, but I just don't want to deal with the drama again. 🙂
