and again the guy that complains about the amount of posts ( this is at least 3rd time) makes even MORE posts

You have an issue with Alan about DIGNITY then take it up with him, no one else said it...So stop lumping EVERYONE into the issue you have with him..

People are TIRED of his tactics, antics, or what ever it is and we want to bitch about him...(you know told his daughter after the JETS he was done and this retirement was for real)

And since we are tired of it, we will continue to post about it...

So you can either come to terms we will complain and stop whining...or continue to be pissy that we are complaining..

Not sure why RedSox needs to insult me here, but whatever dude.

I think the whole thing is comical. It's great entertainment while I'm packing to move 1000 miles away. 🙂

You can complain all you want btw but stop pretending that your views are free of any bias when naturally you are probably a little bitter about the whole thing. And accuse others of being blinded by "Favre love". The same applies to a lot of posts on here, its blinded by "Favre hate".

Thats my whole point, thats it. You can complain and discredit him, bash him whatever, go for it but don't pretend some of your comments are based on a dislike for Favre and not on rational thought.

I'm not blaming a lot of Packers fans for being bitter, its a pretty intense thing to happen to your legendary QB. But stop pretending everyone is over it because the activity on this forum proves that.

This year's Super Bowl is why the coach spends the night at Favre's mansion a week before training camp, willingly revealing what has been transfer of power from coach to player.

Wait.. what?! Sure, some football was talked about.. but they also just hung out, too. Remember that whole 'schpiel' with Brad and Brett last season? How they were fighting on the sidelines and all that? They were figuring out each other's personalities.

What I don't get is how that act even remotely proves any 'transfer of power' from coach to player? Didn't McCarthy visit Favre a time or two when he was waffle-icious with the Packers? Does that mean McCarthy gave Favre 'power' then, too?

Sometimes I just don't get how these journalists get their jobs..

I think I've been pretty rational and Favre's my second all time favorite player. I just can't avoid the 4 ton pink elephant in the room. I said already, blame goes on the Vikings far more than it could on Favre. They're enabling this, not Brett.

Who the hell is going to say 'hey dont tell me you want me on your team, hey dont give me more money, hey dont send three of my closest friends to my house' ... the Vikings took what was a monster and created a super monster. In my opinion.

I said it before... I think Brett just can't let go of what he's only really known in his life and he'd miss some of the attention.

Not sure whom this is aimed at.. but your free to your views.. IMO.

I know how I feel about it.. and try to be understanding of opposing or alternate views.

And isn't that the basis of what a forum should be built upon.. discussing alternate views without attacking or taking shots?

BTW.. I am more bitter about Jared Allen's knee shots on Schaub than any of this Brett saga drama nonsense..

Yes shots on a Texan QB.. lol.

"pack93z" wrote:

You and Dakota should form a therapy group. Not for his apparent attempt at ending Schaub's life, but the double standard for cheap shots at a QBs knees (shitting bricks when Allen gives a dirty hit, but not a peep when Favre gets them throughout an entire game)
