I've heard some trade ideas thrown around, mainly players that currently have one year left on their deals and may not resign with the Packers if they don't get as much playing time as they would like and/or the money offer they would like... so I'm trying to figure out all the guys on a one year deal and see which guys wouldn't the fans here mind trading.

FA after this season

RB Brandon Jackson
FB Korey Hall
WR James Jones
OL Allen Barbre
OL Jason Spitz
OG Daryn Colledge
DE Cullen Jenkins
ILB Desmond Bishop
CB Tramon Williams
FS Will Blackmon
SS Atari Bigby
K Mason Crosby

FA after next season

QB Matt Flynn
RB Ryan Grant
WR Jordy Nelson
TE Jermichael Finley
TE Donald Lee
RT Mark Tauscher
RT Breno Giacomini
RG Josh Sitton
C Scott Wells
ILB A.J. Hawk
CB Al Harris
CB Patrick Lee
S Derrick Martin

Those that will be FA after this season are the most likely to be traded if the Packers have depth and think they may not be back. Also if the guys like Flynn show up this year and play well they might get traded for a high draft pick next year or resigned to a good deal by the Packers. But some important names in those two list.

No way I'd trade Jordy Nelson, Sitton, Pat Lee or Cullin Jenkins. Jenkins might want to go to a 4-3 team, but I'd try to keep him, at least for now.

I was just trying to listed all the FA those years... not saying I'd trade all of them. I think Jenkins might get franchise tagged before they let him go. (Wait can they do the franchise tag with not CBA?)

Grant, the '07 version of James Jones, T. Williams, Finley, Wells, Sitton and Cullen Jenkins I definitely want to keep.

Flynn I want to keep because he holds clipboards better than anyone I've ever seen.

I love Al Harris, but don't know how good he'll be after next season.

If they go with Bulaga at LG, Colledge is probably the most enticing trade option. I'm not sure what they could get for him, but they got something for Tony Moll, so I'd assume they'd get some sort of value for Colledge. Again, this is assuming he loses to Bulaga at LG.

I honestly don't want Bulaga to beat him at G. I think Bulaga's focus should be on T. If Clifton were to go down, they would move Bulaga from G out to T, and that would shuffle the whole left side of the OLine around. I think Bulaga needs to stay focused on T.

I would be exceedingly pissed off if Jenkins, Williams, or Sitton was let get away, and moderately upset if it were Grant, Jones, Nelson, Finley, or Tauscher.

I'm pretty sure this won't happen but it's some what fun to think about (well if you don't think of the negatives.)

But trade FB Korey Hall, OL Allen Barbre, OG Daryn Colledge, SS Atari Bigby and TE Donald Lee (or something like that) to the Patriots for LG Logan Mankins, who doesn't want to be a Patriot and wants to be paid big time.

Future OL LT: Bulaga, LG: Mankins, C: Spitz, RG: Sitton, RT Lang/Giacomini/Future Draft Pick.

beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job

wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
