That is one awful generalization loaded with inaccuracies.
It's Justin Harrell. It is his last chance. Yes, most would expect him to be more "into it" to appeal to a few sideline reporters to avoid negative articles and comments being said about him. I don't know that he's sluffing off, I haven't SEEN the practices myself. Although I have seen many practices and MANY players do not give 100%. Its not worth getting upset about. Is it something that should be noted? I would think so.
I didn't see any say he can skate through the camp and he'll be ready to go. I have read that if he gives five good plays on Sunday, that would be a good thing. I really don't expect much from Justin anymore, not sure why anyone else does or is.
If he's lazy and not showing effort, no, I don't care because he's not the damn franchise, he's a first round pick from several years ago who has not done a damn thing worthy of getting upset over.
We have about six dozen more intriguing players on the roster to be concerned with instead of a 3rd? string DL.
What's next, we gonna start complaining about the punter not running around slapping guys backsides to motivate people?
The comments coaches have said about him have been good, err, better than what's normally being said. Either they condone the sluffing off, or the sluffing off is not as prominent as some are alleging it to be.
Either way, it's Justin Harrell, not exactly one of the key cogs in our team. We'll still win the Super Bowl with or without him busting his ass off in training camp.
Tomorrow night, if he's half assing it in the game, THEN there should be bitching... but not in training camp.
The saying practice like you play, doesn't fit with every player.
