Which regular season opponent will be our toughest this year (and why)?

The Packers are our toughest oppopnent every week. Glib answer? maybe. But in all honesty who knows who the toughest oopponent is going to be unless we are only measuring by what a team looks like on paper. In that case I would then have to say the Cowboys or Jets.

Divisional games are always tough. Outisde the divison I'd say the Jets, Pats, Cowgirls or Giants are our toughest opponents.

Patriots, it's an away game vs the best QB on our schedule. Cowboys and Giants are both home games and I don't think the Jets really match up that well against us because of our run D and their QB.

Yeah, a guy I work with has Pats season tickets and offered two up to me...then had a heart attack, so I don't know where that situation is at the moment. Sure hope he's ok. :thumbleft:

In conference - Minnesota.

Out of conference - toss between 49ers and Jets

I'll say teams will good pass rushes which are the Vikings, Jets, Giants, Cowboys and maybe the Bears and Lions.

I think the Jets and 49ers could be toughest because the Packers weakness are at the linemen and the Jets and 49ers have some pretty good physical linemen that might make it a long day for the Packers linemen.

Ok I am going to say the toughest game on the schedule will be the Lions on Dec 12th. Before you laugh let me explain.

First point is the Lions should be much improved and they will have a very tough d-line and possibly the rookie of the year in Best. They also have one of the best wrs in the game with Calvin Johnson.

The main point is the time of the year, They will have just gotten done playing most likely the division leading 49ers and their tough defense and looking foward to a very tough game at New England.


A close 2nd would be the Atlanta game just because of the schedule, just get done with an emotional game with the Vikes and Favre and having the 49ers next.
