How many wins do you think it takes to win the division? A friend of mine said he thinks 9-7 would do it. I havent looked close enough into it yet to make a decision. But just thinking off the top of my head, that seems pretty accurate. Maybe 10 wins

Well each of the 3 "division leaders" are 3-3 with 10 games left. I can't imagine anyone going 8-2, so you'd have to think 10 would win it. Could you get by with 9? Maybe.

CHI still has 2 against GB and MN, while GB and MN face off once more. Other than that:

Bears still have TN, JAX, and NO.
Vikes still have TB, JAX, ARI, ATL, and NYG
Pack still has IND, TN, JAX, CAR, and NO.

So the Bears have the lightest schedule, but that's still 7 tough games. Do you see them winning 4 of them plus the other 3 they're "supposed" to win? 9 could win it, but I would guess that somebody - and only one team - gets to 10.

Looking at the schedules for all of these teams, they all have to go up against some of the suprises of this year. Or at least some potential tough opponents. I mean TN, CAR, NO, ATL. And then of course for the Vikes the Giants. It should be interesting. I think it is going to be a close one down the stretch. Hopefully we can get our act together. For good.

I have a pretty solid prediciton going this year so far, and it reads: Packers 10-6, Bears 8-8, Vikings 7-9, but of course it's a little biased by the fact that I'm a Packer-fan.

YOU guys are NUTS!

MY Packers are going to win the rest of 'em!

But seriously, in 1993 or 1994? 3 teams from the NFC central made the playoffs after finishing 9-7 respectively.

Packers were one of the 3 and made it into the divisional round of the playoffs by beating a Barry Sanders led Lions....

It is too early for declaring playoff possibilities but, I think 9-7 makes it in.

I think the Packers will win the NFC North if they have they with the best divisional record.

Typo... I am sure. I am sure you meant they would win the NFC North if they have the best divisional record.

In that case.... I would agree.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS THIS.

The Packers need to win the next two Super Bowls. That would give them FIVE SUPERBOWLS before the world ends.

You see... The world is ending in December. 2012.

vikes will not get that lucky like they did with the saints or the lions, they won by a field goal from the lions saints had opportunity that they wasted bears o-line they have a good runner, hester as a w.r teams know how to stop him when he is on special teams, bush got more than he did when they played the saints,we have a touch schedule but think they win the nfc

It's funny that we lost 3 games in a row, yet we are stil tied for tops in our division :)

Zero2Cool (9h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (9h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (11h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (12h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (13h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (13h) : Thank you
wpr (13h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (13h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (13h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (13h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (13h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (14h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (14h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (14h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (14h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (14h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Bears are finalizing a deal to hire Ben Johnson as their head coach. (via @tompelissero )
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : Looks like Lions OC Ben Johnson is going to be the Bears coach
