I've heard a rumor about this and after checking some things out, I think it may very well happen. First of all, we only have 7 PS spots filled. Harrell will probably return from PUP. We need to clear a roster spot for him. What better way than to send an him, an unproven player, to the practice squad, since I doubt we'll be sending Lansanah back. What other players eligible do we have to send there?

To me, Giacomini has "gamer" written all over him. You know... the kind of player that underwhelms in practice - and then plays lights out when it's for real. Unfortunately, that kind of player usually won't win a training camp comptition. They don't claw their way to the top of the depth chart - but once they get there they're awfully hard to unseat.

I'm not wishing for any more injuries, but I'd love to see him get some meaningful playing time. I really think he's got the talent and attitude to take over for Tauscher some day.

I prefer Sitton because he rocked in camp and he's a tough b@st@rd.

I don't know enough about Breno to argue for or against him. I'm sure we could keep him on the PS once Harrell get back.

Moll is a huge security blanket at T.

Cliffy has been injured, and so has Taush. Granted Colledge can shift to LT, but what if Taush goes down too? I'd much rather have Moll backing up at the T spots than Giacomini.

Remember, the PS spot is empty so I'm pretty sure someone will be sent there rather than someone being cut.

I don't think you can simply put a player from your active roster to the PS. You have to cut the player from the 53 man roster, and if he is eligible for the PS than you can try to sign him to it then.

Athletic young big men are always popular in the NFL. I think it's safe to say Breno would have a couple of offers from other teams for at least their PS. No guarantee Breno decides to join the Packers' PS, out of loyalty or something.

You are 4 hours ahead of me my man. That is the point exactly. Brreno is in Ted's long term plans. If he tries to put him on the PS he most likely would be picked up by some team some where. By this time in the season there is a need for a 2nd string OT by one of the other 31 teams.
