So, this isn't a bad day, just eventful, lol.

I woke up, went to work, all's normal.

Spoke with a few people about my credit, they said get a secured credit card, which I've been advised.

So, I went to Chase, talked to the guy for awhile. Dude was fascinated by my situation and brief history. Too bad I can't find a woman that's that interested in me, hah. Anyhow, they don't do the secured credit card, guy says many banks don't nowadays. Offers me a 1,000 secured loan instead. Fun stuff.

I go back to work. I get a phone call from Shawano County telling me my court paper work is ready for pick up. That means they decided to give me a court date, which is a good thing. That's a whole 'nother story in itself, and it pisses me off on how gender bias that county is.

I started looking at vehicles, just for shits and grins. Found one I really liked. They're open til 7pm tonight, only night they're open that late past 4pm. I planned out my UHaul pickup and drop off and cost total.

Later in the afternoon I get a call from the owner of the Duplex. They are denying me because of my credit and background. I had to explain the issues with my credit report and said if you look at my background, there's nothing on it in the last 7 years except ONE traffic ticket that I paid and wrote the DA recently stating my innocence and explanation how I couldn't leave work (from Colorado) to attend the court. Anyhow, she tells me her and her husband (both from Wisconsin originally) want to rent to me, but are afraid its solely because of the Wisconsin connection. They also said they were worried bout me paying rent. I told them I can give you the landlords contact information of the last 8 years, never once was I late or a bad tenant, each of them will vouch I was a model resident. I also rattled off finance numbers on how I'd be able to afford it ... and I mean I was going on from cost of food, child care, expected and unexpected costs etc ... she interrupted me saying 'Kevin, the place is yours you don't have to sell us on you'.

I explained how it was just a little frustrating that I've been busting my butt off more than a half decade to be the best father I can be and keeping my nose clean and still things from the past are biting me in the future. I owned up to my mistakes, I told her I screwed up a lot, but paid for my mistakes, I took full responsibility of them.

They'll be sending me the lease via email and I'll be mailing it back to them with rent and security deposit. I'm able to move in anytime after August 1st.

I go home from work, ask a friend to come with me to look at the vehicle I checked out online. I liked the truck a lot, I only wanted to spend 3k on a new truck, but this one was just a few hundred over. It was worth it. It's a very nice smooth riding SUV. Good stuff there.


Anyhow, it's closing in on 8pm, Burn Notice starts and my friends wants to be taken home. I said, bah, Burn Notice is on at 8, here take the truck to your place, I'll walk there to pick it up.

I walk into my house, about the turn the TV on hoping they're still playing the intro for Burn Notice and my phone rings, it's dad. So I run through my day to him, blah blah .... well I missed my show, lol. Oh well.

I start the 3.4 mile trek to get my truck. I turn down a road for a short cut. After I get about 100 miles down the huge parking lot, some lady comes out harassing me, telling me I'm tress passing. I said, I'm just passing through to get my truck. She kept bumping shoulders with me as we walked. I walked away, she followed. Then she hit me in the shoulder. I told her if she hit me again, I'd treat it as an assault at hit her back in self defense and asked her to back away from me.

She backed off a step, didn't touch me. I wouldn't have hit her, but gosh she was really aggressive and in my face. Frustrating to the miz-axe!

I got to a fire lane and asked if there was a side walk to the other apartment complexes, she said no stupid its a fire lane you're tress passing. I apologized and said I took a wrong turn, I'll get out of your hair. I started walking and she was on the phone with the cops. I gave her my full name and date of birth and said I'm getting out of your hair, sorry for my mistake. She started mouthing off at me, so I started jogging the 200 or so yards out of the parking lot into the street. I looked back an asked her to come run with me or did you eat too many twinkies? She kept walking briskly towards me, so I just ran off.

I took the corner, called the police department, told them what happened and gave them my name, phone number and said if you need me, call me. They said no one called them about it.

I get my keys and am at my truck, the phone rings, it's the cops. I tell him what happened and apologized for wasting his time. He says no I'm glad you called and left your number so I can get your side, she has been doing this thing for a long time and its wasting our time. He said I did nothing wrong except took a wrong turn and I was fine walking through the parking. He was really nice, but then turned a little "fatherish" on me. Scolded me for giving my full name and date of birth, said to NEVER EVER do that. I said sir I had nothing to hide, I just made a mistake. He says yeah I understand that, but never give out that information, to anyone. I said sorry, won't happen again. He repeated that again and then repeated again he'll have a chat with the lady again and hopefully she minds her own business. I told him it won't ever happen again from me, I'll gladly take the long way to avoid being harassed and wasting officers time in the future. He laughed and said to have a good night.

I get in my truck, the check gauge light is on for fuel. Turns out my friend went for a little joy ride with my truck, lol. There wasn't much gas anyhow though. No biggie.

Anyhow, there was more little things too, but it'd take a story to explain why it was 'eventful'.


All in all though, pretty good day.
