Wow, didn't see that coming. I thought 8 games at the most. Good job Teddy as this could of been huge, but now it's manageable.

Good points Zero. Probably true.

And Porky might be right about Jolly's future here.

This suspension had nothing to due with the pending legal case.

Reports are he failed drug tests.

Players aren't suspended until the 2nd time they fail. Which is four games. Right?

I have no issue with the league suspending Jolly.. even without him violating the substance abuse policy... guy needs a serious wake up call.. and hopefully this will provide it.

With that said.. that explains the Pickett to DE and us picking two DL in the draft... my guess is this was known for some time.. and with him being suspended.. we don't have to pay his contract.. but by signing him we retain the rights to him...

Johnny.. time to decide if you want to continue playing ball or slink into the shadows of the NFL.

Johnny Jolly didn't sign his tender offer, last I read.

Edit, he's not listed on the Packers roster either.

Zero.. yes.. four games then 8... something else seems to be amiss here.. lets see if more information comes out.

The Green Bay Packers said Friday that they had been told by the National Football League that defensive end Johnny Jolly had been suspended indefinitely without pay for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Defensive lineman Johnny Jolly signed his restricted free agent tender before the Monday night deadline.

Jolly will be paid $2.521 million this season, although the money is not guaranteed and he can be cut by the Packers at any time without a penalty to the team.
