Let's not forget it's the OFF-SEASON, so new material isn't sprouted on a weekly basis. With that said, I won't bore anyone with whining about the lack of journalistic or originality of the article, instead I'll comment on the content of the article. ;)

Just finished reading and it's a pretty good article, even during the off-season. It was good reading Rodgers comments on his ESPN Milwaukee interview too. Sounds like he didn't think his comments would be heard or cared with as much as they were. Someone should tell him he holds down a position of employment that is very rare in the world, there's only 32 that most of the world cares about. And its with the best employer in its business. :)

Edit,

but it isn't hard to point out that there wasn't an original sentence anywhere in this piece. Indeed, the whole thing was clichd to an extreme.

You can pick apart others work so well, please feel free to write for PH.com weekly. If you are not secured for the proper access, I'll provide it for you. 😃 I'd enjoy reading an article from someone who can pump out fresh material on a weekly basis, especially someone that's as bright and vocally versed as yourself.

Frankly, I would have loved the piece if he hadn't felt the need to bring up Favre yet again.

When it comes to original content, how much would you expect? Do you pay by the word, or is it a flat rate per piece? Or would I be on salary?

Normally, I'd agree, however in the context I recall, it fit well with the article. The context I'm speaking about is how he handled the adversity and with his comments as of late on ESPN Milw.

I'll split every dollar I earn from PH.com with you. If that's not enough compensation, you can take solace in you being able to do something that many get paid to do it, at a less quality than yourself. Also, you can parade your articles to editors in your area and use them as pieces of work for reference material in landing a journalist position.

If you are splitting the earnings with me, does that mean you are also splitting the losses with me?

You can't "earn" a loss, lol. For arguments sake, I'll eat all of the losses, if you provide an article once a week, at least.
