The Green Bay Packers have lost a running back and activated one from their practice squad.
A league source tells PFT that Packers running back Kregg Lumpkin will miss the rest of the season. Lumpkin has been out since Week 3 with a hamstring injury, although he was listed as questionable on this weeks injury report. Its not clear what happened to set Lumpkin back.
To take Lumpkins place on the roster, the Packers have activated running back DeShawn Wynn from the practice squad. Last season Wynn showed promise, playing seven games for the Packers and starting four, and gaining 203 yards on 50 carries.
Lumpkin, a rookie out of Georgia, has played in two games, with one carry for 19 yards and three catches for 22 yards.
