I disagree. I think AP is better long term with Favre there and the reason is simple - Favre limits AP's carries. We've seen numerous examples of RBs who had too many carries one year and that was it. Done. Career over.

Let's not forget that AP had his best year when it came to TDs. 18. That's a lot. The year before he had 10.

The way to prolong a RB's career is simply to limit their carries. I don't want to see Grant run into the ground either.

Perfect example - Marcus Allen. He played until he was 37 simply because he went so long on offenses that limited his carries.

And when I say garbage, it really is garbage. Our OL is THE example of what an OL shouldn't be. It sucks. It's pathetic.

That's some pretty serious production behind a sucky, pathetic, garbage line. Either all our offensive skill position guys are future Hall Of Famers, or our OL is not as super extra OMG horribly worthless as you are making it out to be.

Aaron was getting killed for the first half of the season and Grant wasn't getting anywhere either. OK, so it improved later on (we all know why). But it started off the worst OL in the NFL, and I don't think anyone will dispute that.
