For some reason whenever i hear the "just a player or two away" argument, I always think of Lindy Infante.

Anyone remember Infante saying something like "we were just a few plays away from...."?

Who on the Packers staff is saying we are a pick away? I thought it was a writer, which if so, there's no real panic from this type of thinking.

In reality, I don't see it being so much that we need a good pick as much as a few details. Easiest on that list is cutting penalties. Giving up fewer freebie yards can make the difference between 3 points and 7 points (or having to punt for that matter.) Our secondary needs to stay healthy - this is a lot of what killed us in post season. Pressuring the QB would likely kill more scoring drives, and that's really where I think our D could really shine with a little work.

I do however agree that a couple of good picks could do us some good. Overall I see a good possibility to win the big show with some adjustments.
