How can I forget Tori? Saw her in '96 and she was amazing. Her two covers that night were Prince's Purple Rain and Somewhere over the Rainbow who I have no idea who originally sang. I've heard Vera Lynn sing the latter song and she did a good job with it too. Doesn't VR like Vera Lynn?

She's beautiful in her own way too. Not that it matters. Well, I'm lying. Yeah it matters. I'm shallow.

She sings this one softly, but believe me, when she wants to belt she can.

Actually I really liked Heart as well, Ann and Nancy Wilson were great and still perform to this day I believe. I would gladly go to see them perform again.

But your intolerance is only exceeded by your lack of knowledge.
Sadly, drug use was rampant during the 60's, 70's and 80's. And the musical group Heart was no exception.

"And shooting videos during that period could get pretty ridiculous. Wed do them in two or three days; and we would all be on cocaine , and no one would sleep; and theyd call you in for your close-up at six in the morning."
- Nancy Wilson

And we won't even go into the reason of why the musical group Heart spent time in Canada due to their leading member being a draft dodger, that is another discussion in itself.

Back to the drug use of that era, most of those that used drugs back then deeply regret it.They (we) made mistakes, as do many people.
One could explain it off as a thing of the times, but no matter how you spin it.... it was a stupid, stupid thing to do.

I realize that the biggest trouble that you can get yourself into in that God forsaken place called North Dakota, is tipping over outhouses or the occasional cow, but open your eyes.... there really is a world out there.

Now folks, you can see why there is such strong support growing across the entire nation for new legislation to eliminate internet access from North Dakota.

Sadly? Hardly. I'm glad they were on drugs.

Some of the best music of the 20th century, hell, I take that back. MOST of the best music of the 20th century was written by people on drugs. Drug addicts. Take away drugs, and you got SHIT for music. Complete, utter, garbage.

Everyone from Pink Floyd to Motorhead were on drugs during the writing process. Heart wrote their best stuff on drugs and when they stopped doing drugs, their music SUCKED. God I hate sober Heart. They were awful, horrible. But I sure loved their coked up music.

I stand more with the late comedian Bill Hicks when it comes to music and drugs. Take away drugs from music and you're left with Kenny G.

Yes, it screws up their lives. But before they die, they left us good music.

(speaking of drugs, look at Pack93z's post. Wonder if Hendrix ever did any drugs).

Yeah, I've seen the Behind the Musics, which is about the extent of the knowledge you brought to the table in this post. I don't think Ann can run a hanky up one nostril and down the other as Stevie can. And if you think Stevie Nicks is a better singer than Ann Wilson than you're listening with your dick instead of your ears. I like Stevie Nicks, but she does not have the range or even the talent of Ann Wilson. Actually Stevie's voice is almost shot while Ann can still wail. I saw Heart about 6 years ago and it was very good.

As for insults of God's country, just remember my friend, without us, you couldn't even boot up your computer. You're such a schmuck, but for some reason I have been assigned you as a cross to bear.

packerfanoutwest (17h) : why is there no SB Prediction topic?

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.

buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : Turnovers rule, win the turnover battle, win the game.
packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : well, he was
TheKanataThrilla (26-Jan) : Eagles down by contact on the fumble....fuck you NFL
Mucky Tundra (26-Jan) : I think this games over
beast (26-Jan) : Eagles sure get a lot of fumbles on kickoffs
Mucky Tundra (26-Jan) : This game looks too big for Washington
packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : that being said, The Ravens are the Browns
packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,
